OFFICE UPDATE 11/17/2020:
In order to continue to keep the office safe for our patients and employees during the coronavirus pandemic, we will be following the guidelines given to us by the Iowa Dental Board and the ADA as well as implementing the following policies in our office:
Whenever possible, we request that only the patient come into the office for their appointments if they are old enough to do so by themselves. If necessary, or the patient is too young to enter by themselves, ONE parent or guardian may accompany the patient for their office visit. We are only allowing one parent or guardian in the waiting room per patient at this time.
We will require that EVERYONE wear a mask in our waiting room (including patients). We understand that masks can be uncomfortable to wear for some, but in order to stay open, we MUST insist that they're worn in our waiting room. We respectfully request that siblings, friends, and other relatives wait in the car to limit foot traffic in the office. This policy will be enforced.
When you get to our office, we will ask you a series of screening questions, and your temperature will be taken. IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING ANY FLU-LIKE SYMPTOMS (FEVER, CHILLS, COUGH, BODYACHES INCLUDING LOSS OF TASTE OR SMELL), WE ASK THAT YOU RESCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT BY PHONE.
We will continue to be limiting the number of patients in our office at this time in order to practice social distancing.
We appreciate your patience as we navigate this new normal. Please do not hesitate to call us with any questions or concerns. We hope you all have a safe holiday season!
